I don't get out detecting much any more due to back issues which is why I haven't posted any finds in a while. I finally had back surgery July 13th. I had L4 and L5 fused with titanium screws and rods. I have been feeling better lately and kind of stir crazy from being cooped up in the house.

A friend of mine called yesterday and asked if I could help him locate some teeth that came off from his trench digger. He is digging a three foot deep 500 foot long trench through mostly limestone so every once in a while it will loose teeth. I went over and found 7 teeth for him. He was extremely happy as each tooth would have cost him 40. dollars to replace saving him 280 dollars. It was nice to get out and swing for a bit.

They look like awesome implants, nice recoveries.

Now why was I thinking false teeth? Nice job!

What a way to put the metal detector to work great job for helping out a buddy! HH

Glad you're feeling better, congrats on the good deed

Very interesting finds!

Not yet but I was invited to hunt it. It was getting dark that day but I can come back any time. He has 80 acres on that farm that I can hunt.

Always a great feeling finding a lost item for a person. You did great. I hope you get back to full health and get some good stuff from that farm.:icon_thumleft:

I was picturing gold teeth. This find was more interesting.

I hope your recovery continues to go well.

Glad your feeling a little better, and great job on helping out your friend.

NOW THERE IS SOMETHING YOU DONT FIND EVERYDAY.

Lol! You had me thinking that must be one heck of a grill (teeth kind) you found!

Well done! Treasure is treasure
...no matter how unusual!

Danged! This deserves an Honorable Mention even before you finish! Rather obviously this isn't the kind of adventure usually promoted as an OM, but you're saving the day for a fellow human being. Good job and hope you find them all!

Oh, and I was thinking gold teeth too.......

Click bait! Nah, thats cool. Glad you're feeling better and able to help out a friend. And, i have one of those, somewhere. Found it a few years back and never bothered to figure out what it was. Now i know.
