WOW what a machine!! The last time I held a detector was 13 years ago and these past two days with my V3i has been great. I have been hitting this park that was dedicated in 1908. I have hunted this park dozens of times in the past. Today I pulled a stunning find...a key date 1872 IH. Plus 2 Wash quarters in the same hole down 7" ('34,44'), 5 wheats, 2 IH (1872,1896) 2 Rosys (1950, 1953D) and 3 V nickels (2-1907 and 1912). One of the V nickels had a full "LIBERTY" and is in great condition. I also found an 1909 Hudson Fulton Celeb token. I have never dug coins so deep. In the past I used the Whites Eagle Spectrum and that was an awesome machine as well but the V3i is super sensitive. Check out the gold earing in the pic...those may be diamonds!!

Great finds!! Glad the hobby is welcoming you back with open arms :hello2:

I am glad to see that you got your V3i! I ended up selling mine the next day, so it all worked out. No hard feelings!

You got off to a great start! A lot of people complain about the learning curve, but you seem to have it under control. Feel free to reach out to me if you need any help with the "V".

New toy and it's not even Christmas yet. Your off to a great start!
