bored and tired of having to stay indoors due to the crazy heat, I went outside to kill some time with my detector in my own yard. I've always been a firm believer in searching the same places over and over under different weather and ground moisture conditions. Today was more proof to me that different conditions do factor in when searching places you've searched before. This makes the 6th ring I've found in my own yard since I bought this place 8 years ago. The others were 2 silvers, 1 gold filled, and 2 junk. This one is 14k yellow gold with 34 tiny diamonds. VDI @ 18 on the XLT.

it was only about 2 1/2 inches deep. to a certain extent, I feel like a dummy for missing it before. most likely I have passed my coil over it before and just ignored the signal thinking it was foil. oh well, it's all good now. ;D

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nice gold ring on your property! I assume this would be attributed to previous property owners?
