2nd. Platinum band of the year !!

I decided to hit one of my "Affluent" Quality over Quantity beaches Monday morning.....Hunted in front of two lifeguard stands (where people are permitted to swim) in a four block area....not much in that flat lower wet sand.....a few pennies and a pull tab or two (Light beach).....Decided to move to the upper 1/3rd of the tide zone on the shelly slope and after a few more unremarkable zincs and pulltabs, I got what I thought was just another pulltab signal......kicked it out of the scoop pile and there she was.....10.6 grams of Platinum wedding band.....I didn't even have to see the stamp inside I could tell by the sheer heft of it !!

Good job!!!!!!!! When I make that decision which I do often. It seems the rich people drink more high end beers. Moosehead, Chimay, Stella Artois. Then throw the caps everywhere!!!!!!

Wow great Job on the plat... Always nice when a bit of treasure is found unexpectedly. Hopefully you got it on video. I always enjoy your YouTube vids and learned quite a bit from them.

On a side note I'll be in Jersey myself in the long island area visiting my sister next week and definitely am bringing my excal with me. If you are up for hitting a local beach let me know. Ill be out there for sure.
