Hello all,It was my birthday friday.Civilman called me and invited me to hunt with him at one of his sites.I had a great time. The first item was a button back that I eyeballed on top of the ground before the coil found it.Still needs more cleaning to read the words on it.Next was another field where I dug 3 .32 cal pistol balls, one was fired,1 .40 cal pistol ball.Iron items were 2 spikes, the handle end of steel fry pan, spoon or fork handle and a few other whatsits.Again, It was a great time thanx Civilman.BTW I was jimmy5503 just changed screen name.

Thanx for lookin and HH, Getty

Having trouble with pics now will try to get them up soon.

Thanx golden!

Nice recoveries. I always love finding the lead.

Not a bad haul there Roger  I can say after 40+ year's of that place being pounded there's still a few keeper's to be had.Need to get back there before planting time.Congrat's on the pistol ball!!!..

Now thats what I call a birthday party..happy birthday Getty. :hello2:

I'd take those for birthday presents any day :icon_thumleft: Congrats on that button back. ;D HH

OK I cleaned the button back some more, nothin that will show on pics. I believe it to say E.M. Lewis Richmond Virginia. Based on what I can tell... it had a block A on it being a Confederate artillery button. Its a shame it does not have the front on it but ... to me, half and id able is better than none.
