3 coin spill 2 silvers:)

Managed to get out in the wind and rain for 45 mins or so this morning and it paid off with a first for me. I went to a big grass area by a local beach that was very popular back in the day. I got a crazy signal on the at pro ranging from 77 to 91, i hadnt found anything but cans so i had a dig and pulled out a 1917 large penny, a 1929 silver sixpence and a 1928 silver florin. I had never even seen a florin in real life untill today. Very happy. The second picture is the florin which cleaned up very nice with baking soda

I love detecting in the rain. There is never many people around asking questions and i always seem to find more stuff.thats why i got the at pro coz in england its always raining. The florin cleaned up beautiul with the bakin soda

Great finds! They say you get better signals in the moist ground,during and after rain! I do detect ,only when its raining lightly and have a cover for my detecter.HH
