I did a short 3 hour hunt 2 hours before low tide at my local beach today. The gold ring looks home made and could be gold. The earring is gold and the silver looking ring is junk steel. Thanks for looking HH

Thanks. Not much to find around here at the moment with all the sand. We need a nice little storm with some 12 ft waves LOL

Thanks Dennis. The one gold looking ring is definitely hand made I need to test it tomorrow to see if it really is gold. The bottom was soldered and broken. The stone is also soldered in place with some other type of metal. It's always a rush to find a ring and even a better day when you find two! Really I was surprised to find anything. The beach is really sanded in bad. Have a great day tomorrow and good luck with your hunts.
