Todays finds from about 3 hours of water detecting. I found the usual clad, a 925 toe ring, a nice big cross it looks to be silver it rings up the right way and I can flake away a layer of black silver oxide but cant seem to find a hallmark on it, then found a mystery pendant. It looks like it's a silver Roman coin inside a bezel to make a pendant. The green tarnish seems to be coming from the solder holding the rope pattern on the bezel. I'm no expert in ancient coins and I'm wondering if it's real, any help would be appreciated. It rings up high on an excal 2 and as a silver quarter on a v3i, it's very heavy for its size, and it's not perfectly round. I feel if it's a new reproduction they would make it round to fit in the bezel better. 20210228_195736.webp20210228_185041.webp20210228_185008.webp20210228_185108.webp20210228_185212.webp

Looks like this v
Arsinoe II (305-283 BC), Egyptian

The specimen being heavy for its size and not a perfect circle could point its authentic but I'm no expert either.:p
