CW bayonet handle

I found a soild brass handle from a bayonet, a pocket knife with bakelite handle and a handle from a straight kinfe. All found around the same old homesite.
The sword handleis pretty nicked up, I am unable to find any markings on it. I was considering cleaning it with brass cleaner but changed my mind.

Found near this chimney, I am guessing someone brought it home from the war, probably chopped something with it and broke the blade and threw out the handle.
