Decided to expand the wooded parks near my office to uncover some new sites. Found one about 15 min away with a number of dots along a perimeter road from the 1906 map. No home sites visible from aerials from 1936, so good sign.

Found the first cellar hole and dug the spoon right away, good sign that it was not hunted out. Found a few more items, then headed more into the woods to a really small cellar hole.
First tone here was an IHP
(1862 Fatty, 1896, 1901), then 2 more around this tiny cellar.
Then a super shallow overload signal right by the rim and kick some leaves.
Tiny intact petal bell.
Here's the handful, if weather holds up I will spend another 30 minute hunt there for sure tomorrow before I leave on a couple business trips.
BTW, my second big men's brass wedding ring in the last 4 days, none the last 2 years, weird how this hobby goes.
Good luck out there!
