Congrats on some great finds!! Thats a sweet indian head penny. 8)

WTG on those finds and welcome to T-net. I look forward to more of your posts and pictures. HH

Some nice oldies there,Nice to hear about family doing things together.

All three of those are great looking coins! The SLQ has a nice readable date, which is unusual. The IH is in GREAT shape. Congratulations on a great hunt!

HH,

Dr. Ace

That Indian is beautiful, I have a 1900 it was one of my first finds.
It was very dirty and someone who I thought knew what they were
talking about told me to soak it in vinegar now its almost blank.
I also have a nice 1907 that has a nice green patina like yours.

Those are some nice looking coins. Love the IH looks to be in VF condition too...Matt

very nice coin finds

Love the patina on the IH, nice silvers also.

Congratulations on the great finds, where do you live that you can pull pennies out of the ground in that condition? Again, those are awesome digs. T.

Great fiinds! Any one of the three would make a great hunt!

HH,

Dave

Thanks everyone, We live in central Illinois. Are soil is wonderful, Sometimes I think the oldies sink to far for us to get to. The dime and penny were near an old tree, I did have to go through a few small roots. Maybe the roots kept them near the surface for us, 5 to 6 inches for those two, but we get clad deeper. Sometimes I don't get it.
Does anyone know how deep coins can go? I guess thats the big question. I know canslaw gets very deep. lol Thanks again, everyone
