I dont think it was fired
There wasn't any battles or skirmish anywhere around. The encampment was setup after the battle of Bentonville. Near Raleigh NC

Congrats. I don’t see riflings, but I do see a seam running down the side in first pic. I’d say it was a drop.

it’s a side cast vs nose cast bullet. Just an observation. One of the experts on here will have to tell you if it’s significant.
