3 silver / 1st hunt with CTX

Purchased a Minelab CTX 3030 and used for the first time on a 2-hour hunt after work today at a park that I hit hard with the AT Pro.

Highlights of my finds are three silver pieces today, 1953 Rosie, 1951 Washington quarter and a cool Native American design 925 ring.

All three silvers were found in very trashy areas of the park. The CTX was very difficult for me, there will be a learning curve using it. I don't understand the number system to well but like anything new I will put my time in you master it.

Dime and ring were over 6" deep, quarter was around 4" deep, very hard ground.

I don't have allot of time metal detecting, but I have put in quite a few hours, One thing I have noticed so far is out of three machines (AT Pro, Deus, and CTX 3030) Any given day, any one of those machines will out perform the other. At this point, if I had the money I would own all three machines. Not to take away from the CTX, but the Deus is on my next to buy list. You will find much silver with that CTX, and deep old silver. I wish you much more luck with it, and you have done great with those finds so far!
