Hunted today at the sandbar creek, but only found sinkers and memorial pennies. So I moved up to the area between the trail and the creek. It's pretty overgrown right now, but I've found many things there in the past. Today, I found a silver Roosie (1946) as soon as I walked in there. A little later I found an old pocket spill of three wheaties, a Jeff nickel and a silver quarter (1941). Then I found this gold filled pin and on the way out I plucked a 1941 merc. I also found a Seagrams medal, which didn't hold up well in the ground and a few wheaties and nickels. Surprisingly, I only found one clad piece, a dime.
