...were found at one of my supply banks during lunch today. I am not a coin collector as much as a silver salvager per se but I took them off of the teller's hands and she was soooooo happy! She told me some old lady brought them in this morning. I'm guessing they must have been her husband's collection, but who knows. They were all in plastic tubes with a different state in each tube. A few were ordered from a company and had 47 coins in each tube so I made a few bucks free, the others may have been put together by hand, I'm not sure. Are these worth anything or is there any state I should look for/keep? :help:

Thanks and HH!!!

I looked in my 2010 red book and itg says the 2004-D Wisconsin there is some with a extra corn leaf Hope this helps some as I do not know much about them.....Matt

Dude, I am pretty sure there have been some short mintages in the first 50 states(57 states to some). If you have a red book,it's easy. If not,Google mintages for quarters and look at which are short. I think Georgia is one and Texas but there may be others.
Sounds like a fun find anyway. Wish I could be more help to you. Mahalo, Jim

OMG, I didn't even think of looking my red book! I just checked ebay and not many state quarter rolls were selling so I was more wondering if it was even worth my effort to try. I'll dig into my red book and see - there are a couple of rolls of GA quarters in there, P and D!

I can't help with the quarters, but I would have bought them all just to get the tubes!!!!

I've tried numerous times to sell rolls like that. Just no market.

I'd say try them on Craig's List (Since there are no fees) for like $0.30 per quarter, and seee if anyone wants a roll of any state. Mostly though? NO one cares, as too many are out there and people have what they want in the state quarters. they are worth $0.25.

I threw back about 15 rolls just last month. Got them at a bank and didn't even keep them. But I always check the Wisconsin D for the eatra leaf (upper or lower) and the Kansas P for the grease over T in Trust. Other than that they go back now.

What about the extra leaf on the Marijuana leaf from the Alaska and California states...... :laughing7:
