30+ Years Until My First Franklin!

Detected two low tides at Jefferson Street this weekend. Couldn’t believe my eyes when this Franklin half came up. All those years detecting land and sea and never had one of these show itself:



Had a good weekend for older coins, a nice change from the fresh drop hunting I’m usually doing this time of year.



Also, the ring gods were with me, as well. 14 in all.



One of my favorites was this Sterling saddle ring. Before-after:



Big Silver and Tungsten wrapped in gold:



This 1992 Class Ring was a pleasant surprise. I have already contacted the owner and a return to follow:



Site is still producing gold. This little 10 KP ring with small stones came today. My second KP.
And the 12th gold ring from JS.

That's a great picture of the rings also, shows even in the old days there were junk rings as bad as today's new age metal rings.
