Picked up a box of halves, dimes and $300 in mixed CWR. Dimes were skunk, CWR were skunk and I wasn't optimistic about halves. Boy was I wrong! 14 silvers. 3 at the top are 1964 the rest are 40%. First roll I've had w 3 in 1. Best before that was a Ben and Walker in 1 roll. Also 2 enders including the one in the pic. HH!

You paid about 81.6% of melt. As far as buying junk 40% silver vs. the current spot price of silver goes, that is a decent deal. Its not what I'd call a bargain, but you didn't overpay either. Whether or not it was a "good deal" will depend on the price of silver when you sell and more importantly the price you receive when you sell. If silver plummets to $15, then no, it probably wasn't a good deal. If silver skyrockets to $50+, it'll be a great deal.

You also have to factor in most dealers will lowball you for 40%.
