$300 in quarters produce.... nothing except for a Korean 100 Won coin worth... 8/9 cents. But still an interesting coin nonetheless, first one I've ever seen.

Oh, and I also got $6 in teller tray halves... All skunks. Though my teller asked me if I wanted her roll of $10 halves marked 1976-D AU/BU, she asked me what that meant and seemed really excited that she could buy them from her desk :laughing9: needless to say I didn't buy those rolls. (In retrospect, I should have at least have had her open the rolls and saw what was in it, might be a solid roll of walkers :laughing9: )

No you should have just bought the halves. Looking and cherry picking only serves to annoy tellers and clue them in to why you are cherry picking.

Yes, I agree. If I want to see what is in a roll, I buy the roll and search somewhere outside of the bank and teller window.

I bought all the loose halves, and I know the teller because I've banked there forever and I could tell that she wanted the rolled halves for herself. And she knows about silver too since she's worked at the bank for ages, but occasionally sets some aside for me.

I agree you should have bought them. When I ask the teller for halfs I take what they will let me have. Even the loose ones even if i can see that they are clad I still take them since I have asked for halfs......Matt
