33 Missing Treasures Experts Say Are Real

I think anyone would be that Wagon must've been carrying a heck of a lot of dimes

Nice link.

Some Google material here for a rainy day.

Interesting, makes you wonder jyst how much of the "missing" gold pieces have been melted down by thieves, knowing that they couldn't sell or pass on the items for fear of being caught due to the nature of the piece. No 1320, Dents Run didn't make the list...hmmm. Makes one wonder. Also Fenn says that a few treasure hunters have been within 200 feet of his hidden treasures...was he hiding in the weeds? Lol..Ddf.

The experts are always right. :icon_thumright:

Must have been on the way back to Rock Ridge?

Yep.. I'd reckon that yellow Dimond has been cut up into smaller diamonds.. I would also think even if you found most of these treasures someone else actually owns them...Maybe its time to go scuba diving in that lake.. Nazi gold spends like anyone's else's gold...:laughing7:..

I've been researching the dime story but never have found any records of it. You would think if the feds were missing 3 million in silver they would say something or try to recover it at least. Its not on mars for heavens sake. Either way a fisherman well downstream from the canyon found a few dimes and took them into the shop in delta but hed never heard the story before.
It can be a local hunt for me so someday I'll tackle it.

All I get when I click on the link and the arrows for the slideshow is a bunch of news stories.

It showed me about 5 or 6 of the slides then when I clicked to see the next slide it started taking me to new slideshows :dontknow:

Ha ha.. I suppose he must of left things near the treasure that show if the ground disturbed or something.. Or the whole thin is just him having a big joke...

Stories published like that are just "click bait". The writer of that article couldn't care less about "treasure"...it may as well be about "kittens favorite toys". His job is to find a subject that may appeal to a large audience and then list a dozen or so "generally correct" items for that list. The article then makes the reader have to click to a new page to see the next item on the list. And every page is two-thirds covered in ads and they try and confuse the reader and make him click on the wrong "NEXT" button that takes him to some BS advertisement instead of the next item on the list.

I don't mean anything negative against the OP or the info in the article itself. I just hate it when it's packaged to confuse and fool the reader.
