So I am just getting into metal detecting and would like to buy my first detector. My budget is $350. I am open to new or used but I get confused with some of the middle of the line detectors. I am mostly looking for coins, jewlery, and relics on land but would occasionally try my luck on the beach after a big storm but that will be the least of my detecting. I know I can get my hands on a Fisher Auquanauts 1280× for $350. Although it appears to be much older than the current model under that name. I need help getting the most bang for my buck. All suggestions are welcome

You could probably find an used ATPro in that price range if you're patient. The Garrett Ace 350 is a nice machine, but it would be a huge step up to the ATPro.

Buy yourself a $250 detector and a $100 pinpointer.

Look for a used Omega 8000 v.6:thumbsup:

Got my whites treassure pro for $350.. it's a good machine for the price, very feature rich. Otoh life changed when I purchased a pinpointer.. that was key to finding what's in the hole

Check out the eurotek pro 219.00 new, 5 year warranty good selection of coils. Buy a good pinpointer, and have money left over. It is my main detector now . Light weight very sensitive and deep.
just my opinion.
