39 For 39!! 5 More For #300!!

Hello My Friends!!

My consecutive hunt silver streak with my SE Pro coil is still alive! Today, I went on my 39th turf hunt since the end of June with my Pro coil. Guess where I went? Of course, the "silver park". I went to an area I had detected twice before, and couldn't believe there were still a good amount of deep signals left to be analyzed and recovered. I ended my half day hunt with 4 silver dimes, along with 21 wheaties. I was thinking earlier this morning that if I could get just one silver and a few wheats out of this area, I'd be really satisfied. The area is small; approx. 30' x 40'. Most of the deepies were around 6-8" in very trashy ground. With the 4 silvers today, along with 2 Rosies I found on Monday, I have recovered 168 silver coins this year from the "silver park". This is an accomplishment I know I will never match for the rest of my life. And the year is not over yet. I have 5 more silver coins to go til I reach my 300 milestone for the year, and you bet I will try very hard to find them at the "silver park". No reason to go anywhere else.

On to consecutive silver hunt #40 next week!

That place is loaded Must of been a carnival site with one of those dime toss tents set up every year in a little different place each time when silver was the metal used in coins,

Thanks, JDD! Definitely go back to the trashy areas. There's always more "deepies" at spots like that. Sometimes you're going to have to clear those shallow/pesky trash/clad signals to get to the deeper ones. That's what I did today. If I hadn't cleared out some of the shallow zinc pennies and pull tabs, I would have missed a good number of my old coins today.

Looks like you have yourself a good spot.Makes me want to do more MD'ing for coins.
