Went on a solo hunt this morning at an iron infested site that Damnails and I have hunted alot. I haven't been out in a while so I wanted to go somewhere with alot of targets. This is an old site and always seems to provide a few good finds, but you have to work for them. As you can see, I spent a lot of time digging, and loved every minute.:) my good finds for the day where an old pocket knife, part of a Jews harp, two flat button's (one is the biggest I've found) a thimble, a ball button and a bullet that I need an ID on. The bullet has 2 rings is flat on the base and measures .58 at the base (Henry/ Spencer) I have no idea. Thanks for looking and any help on bullet. Hope everyone got out.

You certainly lived up to your name you relic nut!!!! Looks like you had a great therapeutic day swinging the coil. Congrats on pulling those buttons, thimble and bullet.

Great digs! I've yet to find a button that I didn't like. They always make my day!
