The following Silver Roman Denarius were some of my earlier finds

and as such have never had a decent I.D. on them,i believe 2 of them might be

Hadrian but i am not sure? i wonder could some kind soul give an I.D.?

And possibly a number so i can look em up? and finally maybe indicate if

any of these are at all scarce.

Thanks in advance folks....PaulB.

One of the Reverses has Salus feeding snake at alter, one looks like Victoria seated, this is just of the top of my head :D the rest you will find at the link I posted :icon_thumleft:

Thankyou for the link thats very much appreciated...strangely i seem to find denarius o.k

but not the larger roman bronzes lol 8)

Cool, got to love them, these earlier type I like because the heads are so prominent. Really like a 3D effect. Nothing like the rubbish we produce today.

Nice silver Romans PaulB :icon_thumleft:. I haven't found 1 yet, but there is always next harvest time ;D.

Thanks for the comments guys and also the helpful link

Think i have now got proper I.D. from the wildwind site

Almost spot on as you said x 3 Hadrian ...R.I.C. No,s. 286 and 161 and 267.

The other coin was Elagabalus R.I.C. No. 21V.

I have been very lucky finding silver Roman but have very little in the way

of the larger bronzes...strange old world aint it...Cheers PaulB. :icon_thumleft:
