I hear ya I go out many many times with no finds worth posting but Im just as optimistic as the day I started. Love this hobby plus Im a little crazy too I guess. Thanks for the post.

Jeff, from my experience you did well - at least you got a quarter. For my 34 hunts so far this year, 7 of those hunts I found 4 or fewer pennies per hunt, three of them for One Red Cent, one for zero = totally skunked except for trash! It's too danged hot to hit the dirt, to be so skunked it didn't seem worth it.

But, I got out, and sometimes find nice things.
