✅ SOLVED .424 Bullet

I don't often ask the "what is it" forum, but this one is a bit different to me.

Most of the time when I find an old bullet it's just that.. an old bullet.
This one has four groves. most that I dig have two or maybe three.
I'm thinking maybe 44-40 rifle bullet or something along those lines.
Hopefully someone with more knowledge out there will enlighten me with more info.

The slug measures .424-.426 dia. and .724 long.
First Pic is a side view, it looks like the bottom two groves are a wide grove but that is just the way the camera made them look.
Second Pic is the top and third is the base.
I don't have a scale to weigh it so this is the best I can do.

It's a 44-40 as well. Normally 200 grains. I shoot this caliber all the time, a great one.
