.43 L C- new need help

I'm Jason from Georgia. Sorta new to md found cartiridge w .43 L C assume long colt couldn't find in my gun book. I have found Indian,revolutionary and civil war relics.Also a better way than vinegar to clean? Thanks

i see that the shell has the top portion missing (A Partial shell) As it stands it is too long for any Long Colt It is also rimless so it has to be an auto or semi auto round. If it truly says .43 I would lean towards a partial Gewehr 43 or Kal 43 IMO
