Found a SLQ and GW earlier this week at an old homesite I call the Brass Clam home. I have also found 5 wheats there.
Found a cellar hole in the woods near the old homesite.
Nails, nails, nails. So many rusty nails around this cellar hole that using the detector was useless, tried digging about 12" down in front of the apparent entry and sifting the dirt with the pinpointer. Realized quickly that this is a daunting job, hats off to the Silver Dollar Lot dude. Also super dirty and not a good lunch hour strategy, so I went on a swinging walk from the hole to a nearby creek. Started finding old brass bits then finally a nice silver qtr tone. Stopped and just swung over this 8" deep signal for a while as it sounded so nice after all the nails.
So just one coin at lunch today, but it cleaned up nicely. I guess the "D" coins are harder to come by.

I typically find 3x as many silver dimes as quarters, but this site has given up 3 silver qtrs and no dimes. Might be that the terrain is rough and 2-3" of matted grass or dead leaves/needles before dirt is keeping my mighty A250 from the deep dimes.
Good luck out there!
