Got a chance to beep around an old homesite in staunton. Had a vague idea of where the house was located based on local hearsay. Found 2 decent patches about 100 yds apart where structures likely stood due to the small iron infestation. Managed to snag a few neat bits in the short time I was there. A pocket watch (my first ), a key plate (always love those), a suspender (?) strap buckle, a shot and mangled 3 ringer, and a few other bits and pieces. Excited when the weather clears and I can finally go spend a day detecting the site on my next trip out that way.

Anything you pull out of the ground is a nice find! Thanks for sharing...

Congrats on pulling a pocket watch. :occasion14: I think everyone enjoys digging them. I know I sure do, GL & HH
