Hello all.
Had about 45 minutes of daylight after work today (rarely happens!). Went to the local park to see if I could grab my first silver of the year. Also wanted to try the new Lesche digger I got for Christmas. It works great and sure beats the generic spade trowel I've been using. A few signals in and a 1948 quarter pops out. First silver quarter in this park for me, so I'm stoked. A few minutes later I got a silver rosie. I'm aiming for 100 silvers this year, so off to a good start. Headed back to the park on Sunday to see if I can pop some more. Also got 2 wheats ('26 and '40) and the obligatory pull-tabs etc. along with $1.33 in spendable change and a junk pendant.
Thanks for looking and good luck to everyone this year!

Always great to find a quarter, even a Washington.

All the "good stuff".
