Work let me and everyone else in my department off early today, so I decided to run up to Salt Lake County for a road trip. None of the banks had much of anything until I found one that had $465 in CWR dimes. I bought $250 of them at first, and searched the first roll on my way out of the bank. That first roll had a 1948 silver Roosie. After some thinking, I went back into that bank and bought the rest of the dimes. I did not want to waste this potential silver strike. A couple of banks afterward had some loose halves and a roll, which were skunks. The finds from the rolls were:
2 Silver Roosies
a British Five Pence Coin
2 Canadian Dimes(both are magnetic steel)
a roll which had 2 extra dimes
However, the teller also warned me that the rolls might be short. She was correct as I found 3 Pennies in the rolls. Luckily, on the third one, after I switched the penny for a dime, I counted 51 dimes. I'm pretty sure the shorts were made up by the extra 2 dime roll alone, and if not, then certainly by the 2 Silver Roosies.
