Area was Stripped out c1990's North of the school
Possibly because property was Still School Property they had to avoid it.

Last time I was There early 70's the Play/Picnic area Was easy Access from the Original Lincoln Road. the school was almost a large pile of rubble

Lower Rausch Creek is Buried Under Interstate 81

However the Foundaton of the School Was Still Visible in the early 70's at the End of the Back road To Rausch Creek

was too grown up to even think about ,
No idea which Side was the Grove East under 81
or South
