5 hour hunt=5 coins, all old! and 2 keepers from friday's hunt.

Got out Friday with my uncle(unclevinn) and my buddy dan(dan32981). We went back to the old park we have pounded to death this year, but we still find a few every hunt. I got a semi-key IH, 1866 and a really neat pin. I went back there today and hunted for 5 hours with my dad. I managed 5 coins. 3 V nickels(1900,1902,1905), 1 IH(1906) and a 1883 seated dime. My dad got an IH that he is still cleaning up. Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

looks like that pin is infantry hat pin that went top of the kepi hat thats what i think it is kansas coin hunter any way nice find indeed

i told you wrong might be spanish armacan or world war1 those rifles dont look muskets they had in the civil war they look like ole 30 06 springfelds they used in ww1 hope that helps kansas coin hunter could be a collar pin as will for a offcer

From what I can tell, the pin is post Civil War. It appears that the guns are bolt action, which tells me that it dates late 1800's to WW1. Am I right? Thanks for all the great replies eveyone! Happy hunting!

Awesome finds man, definately representing the "Dirt Fishing Crew" lol. Im wishing now that i had went back to the park with you guys on sunday, especially since all i got was that button on friday. Anyways great digs, and till next time, happy dirt fishing.
