Decided to take advantage of the great weather today and that I had the day off and get some metal detecting in. Started off at my favorite park and got a 1934 Washington before Clad the Impaler showed up and we moved locations to some parks he has been hunting recently. Olderactor joined us later on also. My totals for the day included the 1934 Washington, 3 Mercs (1926D, 1941, 1941D), a 1949D Rosie and a whopping 25 wheaties. Also found a circa 1930s/1940s nickle size screw back pin for the Chicago Tribune Silver Skates competition which they sponsored from 1917 to 1974.

Happy Veterans Day to all the vets out there. Thank you for your service!
