$500 in dimes $200 or so in halves

Once again the dimes were garbage thats 29000 of these little b******* in a row without a silver!! Two banks had $78 amd $88 in halfs all clad junk the next bank had only $7 however 1 was 1965 the other was 1968 so i guess they made the day worthwhile

at least you got a little...29,000 or 2,900 dimes? cuz if 29,000 is true, thats REALLY crazy...if i were u id take a brakefrom dimes, cuz the halves seem to be good for you, or maybe try nickels...

Hi guys actually searched 29000 dimes or $2900 worth and found squat. However this morning when rolling up the $78 in halfs to go dump them I did a second check and found I had almost dumped a 1969 I had missed. I guess a second look was a good idea

Well I meant $2900 also.. ie approx 6 boxes. Don't give up man.. I searched a $250 box at one bank and got skunked. Went to another, got a $500 box and pulled 2 keepers. The only thing I don't like about dime boxes is that you don't make much on it. It doesn't take long to search for clear wrapped ones. I wish halves were clear wrapped. Although, the longest skunk streak for dimes for me is 2 boxes of $500. It's not like the halves where I've been skunked 13 boxes in a row with circulateds. The streak would've been longer if I include the new coin boxes.
