5th and final(???) Paterson blob top variant....

Slow night at our monthly bottle club meeting but I was able to add the 5th and what might be the final variant to the William T. Allen & Son blob tops, the new one has REGISTERED straight across above the slugplate...

I was aware of it because last year it popped up on Ebay and another Paterson collector had bid on it first so I let it go instead of running the price up, so I was very happy when it showed up at the club meeting last night. The real surprise was the greenish variant on the far left, I got it a few months ago in a group lot and thought it was the same as the one next to it. Then I realized one was greenish and one was clear as well as the words REGISTERED and PATERSON being smaller embossing along with the This Bottle Is Never Sold on the green one....

That's great. Can't believe you had the patience to hold off bidding when it was on eBay! I would have sold the family farm!
