Went to a new location today and found an assortment of Civil War relics, including a carved .69 caliber mini ball, a confederate Gardner bullet, a J hook and this Sutlers token. I’ve been told they are rare, but I found 5 in a camp about ten miles away from this spot and this one makes #6. Definitely need to go back to this spot again.

For some reason I love finding tokens & marbles, is that strange for a grown man.

Post up a group shot of the 6 tokens.. I would love to see them.
Here you go creskol. The first five were found in a cow pasture and the urine took its toll on them, but this last one was in much better condition. They all are thin stamped brass and say 5 cents in goods 5th Regt OV.
