Well since it is raining here in Bagdad, Kentucky and im not to keen on getting wet in 50 degree temps, i'll use my 6,000th post just to say a few words about myself, this awesome site and all of the great detectorist on this site.
My name is Allen, I was born and raised in Winchester, Kentucky where I lived until I met the girl who would later become my wife and we moved to Shelby County, kentucky.
Me and my wife have been married for almost 13 years, we have three kids, two boys and a girl.
This is my second marriage. The first marriage didnt last long, but we was young and we did produce a son who is now 17 and a senior in high school.
My second wife will be a registered nurse soon and I am taking classes to become a parole/probation officer and should graduate from this program in 2011.
Now to the treasurenet website, I always bought the western and eastern magazines and one day while online, I looked up western and eastern and discovered treasurenet and joined the website not too long afterwards.( 2004 )
It did take me awhile to become a charter member ( 2009 ), but I plan on staying a charter member as long as I can. To me this is the most valuable website on detecting that there is and personally i love this site.
Now to the friends ive made on treasurenet, I cant say there are many of them, cause im actually quite shy and try to stay out of the limelite. Alot of the people on here have shown me alot of things I wouldve never known about detecting and to those people, I salute you.
Have a great day and a better hunt,
Allen
