6-8-09 finds

I got an ealier than normal start today(9 a.m.) I worked the dry sand until 2 p.m. I hit a cluster of quarters ($1.75)in front of one of the lifeguard towers. Nothing all that exciting, $4.94 in change, an ID tag, junk earring and a hammer. Yep, you read that right, a hammer. I found it between 2 unoccupied beach chairs about 3 inches down. It was sticking straight up, handle first. :icon_scratch:

Not shown: 76 bottlecaps 12 pulltabs (didn't like seeing them the 1st time) :BangHead:

can't help but wonder why your not discrimination bottle caps, your US coins have a higher conductivity don't they ? and ditto gold & silver.

The discrimination on my Silver Umax was set at foil. I dig everything that beeps. Roughly half of the bottle caps were surface finds.
