6/9/06 $100 Nickels Results

Did a box of nickels while on the phone with my girlfriend. Results: 2 war nickels and a decent amount of pre 60s. One of the war nickels looks to be uncirculated. Great detail.

Wait a minute. You went thru a whole box of coins while on the phone with your girl friend?? If you're talking that long, you need to to get her over with you to help in the search. Oh well, I guess if she was there then no rolls would be searched.

Haha. She has helped me in the past, and to good results. She heard me scream like a girl in excitement when she opened the roll of 1967 halves. I just needs to get her to go to the banks and buy halves herself. Shes in a big city so she has a great oppurtunity.

Great finds AF. When the price of silver took off people sort of abandoned nickels and went to halves. Nice to see a renewed interest in it.

Yeah Immy, I like to keep a box of nickels or pennies lying around so i can do a few rolls every now and then to get a fix. Haha. They are fairly steady performers as far as silver nickels and wheaties go. Always good for a few minutes of relaxation between studying. Not to mention, its always possible to get plenty of pennies and nickels. Not as random as halves go.
