6 Bonus Fields - The Return - 4 Hammered...

[CRUSADER]

After unsuccessfully scouting the 2 fields on Saturday we returned to our reserve field. It's one of the 6 bonus fields we tried earlier but not the best one we settled on. (the one with all the hammered's)
This field had only produced a few scrappies, 1 hammered & a Celtic Silver Unit in all our past hunts. (although the Celtic gave us hope)
Last night I knew where I wanted to start & grid today & it was pretty much the middle of the field. I also knew it was going to be a good day & called it at the start.
5 hours gridding:

6 Scrappies
Medieval Buckles
2 Rose Farthings
1 Lead Token
3 Military Shoulder Titles:

1. WWI Essex
2. WWI Royal Army Medical Corp.
3. Hertfordshire Imperial Yeomanry (SCARCE)

Medieval folded over Horse Harness Pendant
Roman Plate Brooch
Neolithic Flint
Bronze Age Socketted Axe (fragment)
4 Hammered:

1. Unknown Short-cross Penny
2. Broken Ed I Penny
3. Cut Short-cross Halfpenny
4. Cut Halfpenny of Henry III

This takes us to 20 Hammered this month which is our 3rd highest ever.
