6 " DD excelerator coil on DFX...

I just ordered a 6" DD Excelerator coil from Kellyco. If anyone has used this coil I would love to hear its + and - feedback. Also what is the max depth you have achieved with it and how do you pinpoint with it? (I use a DFX so if you have this coil and a DFX PLEASE respond.)

I got the Excellerator pro 2...is that the one? It's a 5" I believe.

Anyhow....I wasn't overly enthusiastic with the performance of it. It seemed to achieve the same depth as the standard coil of the DFX, but I was disappointed with it's target separation capabilities. ie....closeness of trash to goodies. I can pretty much do the same thing with the standard coil as with the 5".

Maybe in an area without a lot of trash, but I bought it with high trash areas in mind.

I'm sure others may have had better results. And the centering of targets was the same as with the standard coil....dead center.

stick with the 5.3 eclipse its not a DD but it is a better match
