6 inch metal rifle from what era??

I found this yesterday at a old park .. Was surprised when I pulled it out of the dirt .. Looks like a old die cast rifle .. But I would appreciate if anyone would know more about it as what year they were made... or a web site were I could get more info. It has no broken parts , except for some corrosion looks like its in pretty good condition .. Hope the pics will be of help Shane41

It looks like a toy copy of a Civil War Spencer carbine. Not sure if it was made that early, but it's still a cool find.

Reminds me of a series of guns put out by, I think, Marx.

That probably is a Marx toy rifle from the 1950's to 1960's, when they produced a whole line of miniature toy rifles. Originally, it would have had plastic parts such as plastic sides on the stock and a plastic fore grip. Still a cool find!:thumbsup:

I had Winchester repeating rifle, die cast about same size in 1980s as a kid. Some how I remember a local hobbie shop selling different types of small die cast toy rifles like that.
