6 silver week... Yaahoo lol

My buddy Dusty, spotted a new small place to detect..... 1911 Barber quarter and 1942 Merc. dime....

Then we went back to one of our, "picked out" places and I pulled a 1942 Walking Liberty Half.... I got a picture of it dirty and put it in my
pouch... at the end of the day, we were standing by my truck, so we cleaned the half with water, and put our gear away and shot the bull for a while. Somehow, I managed to put the half in my truck, where I still can't find it... LOL

Today, I went out for the first time, with Mark... He took me to a place he knew of and we both had a great day.. I managed to find 3 Washington quarters and a lighter... 1941S, 1943, and 1944....

Was a great day all around! My first time out with Ray and I found my first silver half, a1936 walking liberty! I also managed to pull a dateless standing liberty quarter out of the ground, a silver ring, a 5 wheatie pocket spill with one grown into a tree (I left it in the wood in the picture) and a big old plated ring that got the heart going for a second! Can't wait to head out with Ray again!

I love "Picked Out" places....late last year I got tired of sitting around not having spots to hunt and headed back to 4 specific spots Ive found silver at years ago, sure enough, each spot produced some more.
