Well this wasn't found by me but found right beside me….Posting this as my detecting buddy is not on the forum and thought it was an amazing find in itself…honestly I thought he was pulling my leg, he kept saying there's more in the hole….this hunt is part of a 3 day hunt that we are doing and this being day one…I will post up my finds at the end of the 3rd day and I myself had a hunt I won't soon forget!!!!:headbang: He also managed this Victorian 25 cent coin….

I couldn't believe it as they popped out one after another. We should all have quite the post when all is said and done!

Wouldn't we all love to know the story behind those?!? Looking forward to the end of hunt post.

Wow most will never find one and he pulls 6 in a few minutes. That is so cool man

That's the funny part, he had none to his name and now 6!!

WOW ! 6 trade axes in one hole...like Abe said most will not find one...but I'd still rather have the Vicky quarter.

"maybe" considered common as a Can. Vicky quarter... @ only 600 K minted, is pretty rare as a "dirt find". I've got one vicky quarter in 8 years, and no less than a dozen spanish Silver.....what's that say ?

The rest of your three day hunt should be interesting.

I've only gotten one of those in 11 years of detecting…with about the same spanish as you

wow how deep were the trade axes, maybe it was an old camp
and had to close shop quick

We were thinking the exact same thing!!! There was an old fire pit close to them and they were found starting at about 8 inches and down to about 13 inches...

My first silver ever was an 1887 Vicky quarter. Only 100,000 minted. Never another but quite a few spanish

Wow, I can't wait to see all the stuff you guys are finding on this hunting weekend!! Very nice finds!

I only have two in 14 years.... you're dead to me Vicky quarter... got it. I really don't care if i ever find another.

if an old camp that closed quick, there should be a lot more goodies
cant wait to see HH
