Such a beautiful day, I skipped out of work and went to the creek. There were misquetos biting me. Global warming felt good. I dug in the gap between those big rocks. I found some small stuff, as usual,but it sure beats working.

The owner of this site has a comercial permit to remove and sell boulders. The Dept. of Fish and Game makes him identify and mark his work areas. He got mad and named some of the rocks after the officers that bugged him. Look at this crack I found yesterday. It's full of square and round nails. I'd better clean that one out. No luck on finding your bird?

Great pic of the nails i got a funny feeling theres a nugget under those boulders. Maybe a big O nugget. No bird....aa

I ran back to the creek for 2 hours to dig the crevice with the nails in it. I dug past the rusty areas and got some color, but no nuggets. Maybe I'll dig the rest out this weekend.

I might be a dreamer but seeing those nails really makes me think there is more gold. Keep digging Good Luck...aa
