I got out for a short hunt yesterday and was fortunate enough to find 2 wheat pennies and a 1905 Barber dime. What was interesting about the dime was that I found it underneath the brick sidewalk and had to temporarily remove three of the bricks to dig it up. I know the sidewalk was relatively new by the look of the bricks. Today the 4th I met CarolinaTom for a head to head / face to face battle on his home turf. The second spot we hit he recovered a very nice Mercury dime and I definitely felt the pressure. We ended up at his stomping grounds. This is a place that on occasion produces a silver and some wheats. Well today it was kind to me by giving up the 1950 Roosevelt dime. Also found 2 wheat pennies today. So not a bad couple of days hunting. The weather this morning was really nice. Lower humidity and not too hot. Thanks for looking and best of luck on your upcoming hunts.
