Amazing this guy carried some rifles and a bag of hand launched Bombs from the rear cockpit of a open cockpit plane, high tech in its day, WOW

I'd give my left nut to be able to spend an hour talking with any of these men. I remember when Alec Campbell, the last surviving Australian Digger of Gallipoli, died in 2002. What a respectful send-off Australia gave him. I was also able to visit the Australian War Memorial in Canberra - that place beats the socks off of any military museum I've visited in the United States. I would like to visit the Imperial War Museum one day in Britain.

I am glad I was able to spend a lot of time with many veterans of World War II; many of them family. By the time my kids are my age, there will be very, very few of them left. I hope to pass on the stories that I heard on to them.

Thank you gentlemen for what you did yesterday. Today and tomorrows will always be better from your dedication and service to mankind

Salute!

WE all owe the debt of eternal vigilance for the freedoms that we enjoy because of the
brave me like these who never hesitated, never faltered, and never surrendered!
America......
The land of the Free because of the Brave!
God Bless them all , every one.

Their sacrifices & those of any our military from any war can't be forgotten, nor should we allow
those that are now too young or especially those that come here from other countries to forget
just why America is the greatest nation in the world. And the reason they come here.

Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough. These men, like all veterans, are the real super heroes. Hopefully someone has sat down with these men and have recorded their stories for all of us.
