Hello everyone!

I took a drive up to Portland with my buddy Ron ~ we detected ALL DAY LONG! We did pretty good ~ Ron dug serveral silver coins, wheats, silver jewelry, and clad. Here's a breakdown of what I dug:

1953-S Wahington 25c
1907 Barber Dime
1916-S Merc dime
4 Rosie dimes ('51, '52, '60 & '64)
20 wheat cents (1925 to 1957)
19 clad quarters
24 clad dimes
14 modern nickels
40 or 50 memorial cents
"Police special" whistle
Indian Head cent (I can't see the date yet ~ gotta clean it)

This is the first time in about 5 years since I have found s silver dime TRIFECTA!! WOOHOO!!!

I doubt the whistle is a real Police issued whistle ~ probably a toy. It is nickel plated copper ~ rang in like a quarter on my eTrac!

Thanks for looking!
Neil

That is pretty sweet, Neil. Congrats

WTG on all the silver, especially the Barber Dime! Cool whistle too.

Did you find in a park or a homesite?

What we do is head to the old neighborhoods ~ find a park or school, and start there. If we don't find much there we start heading into the residental areas ~ hunt the public easements and hope to start up conversations with the area residents. Some are nice enought to give us permission to hunt their lawn!
