My tattoo guy David is awesome . . . . not only does he ink me up with awesome body art . . . . he recently invited me to go metal detecting around his house in Springfield Oregon . . . probably the best day of treasure hunting in Springfield that I have ever had in the last 23 years that I have been doing this hobby!
I found 6 silver dimes (dating from 1935 to 1963), one piece of sterling silver jewelry, 9 wheat cents (dating from 1939 to 1957), lots of modern pocket change!! TREASURES!!
(not pictured is the 1935 silver dime that I gave to David).

Very nice man! That's an accomplishment for all the way where you are. Good show and I wish you continued success

Congratulations on great finds and a great friend.

That my friend , is an outstanding hunt.
Hope you are going back.
Congrats

Sheesh! Too much silver! All you are lacking is a lost gold minel

Good deal oatmeal! I'm sure I speak for the majority when I say we all are continuously on the look out for new places to detect...and I take EVERY opportunity to open doors...barber, restaurant, family gatherings etc...I usually start out by asKing "hey..just how old IS your house?"...I get most of my new places by chance meetings, so good for you! That was most certainly an epic hunt! And kudos for giving up the Merc, I'm sure he appreciated the gesture, as I've surrendered a a couple Mercs and/or Rosies myself...

Congrats on the silver and a great hunt

Great going on the silver! Is that an earring you dug with the lightning bolt on it? It looks very Art Deco to me and I love it.

Great stuff! [emoji106]

That should be a great day in any treasure hunters book.

Very nice silver score, congratulations! That pendant is very cool! :occasion14:

Awesome hunt Odd...
The only thing that would have been better for you was to have found a Dog Tag :) Great digs... Always love silver...

Now that is funny CG. It is a symbol of the Grateful Dead... they were a hippy band, that was popular a very long time ago! It even has a crystal, so that you can channel the hippie power. Think tie dye.

Congrats on the really nice haul of treasure Oddcoins!

Maybe I'm not as old as you Tom ,haha! The shape of it reminded me of Art Deco earrings I've seen. Hopefully oddcoins can harness some of that power and find him some more goodies!
