As it was hovering around freezing and raining fairly steady this morning, I struggled but decided not to go out hunting. I headed to the local bank and got $100.00 in rolls of halves. I ended up with (6) 40% Silver Kennedy's and (1) 1964 90% silver Kennedy half. This gives me 8 silvers for the year counting both dug and bank finds. This combined with the temp. raising a bit and the rain slacking off, made me change my mind about going out hunting for real. I hit a school complex and pulled out 42 coins in an hour, none more than 1" deep. The mud, frozen ground and rain didnt stop me from hunting totally. I passed up at least 10 coins that were deeper. Digging much today was nearly impossible at this spot. I am up to almost 200 coins already this year in just 4 hunts.
